Inga Marie Freund, Gaby Lunansky and Luisa Solms successfully pitched their research for the UvA 3MT finals. Developed by the University of Queensland, the 3MT competition, is an annual competition held at over 900 universities across more than 85 countries worldwide. Participants are challenged to present their PhD research in just three minutes to a non-specialist audience. The winner of the UvA finals will be announced 8 September 2022.

Between April and June PhD candidates Inga Marie Freund, Gaby Lunansky and Luisa Solms from the Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences trained their pitch and recorded a video. They were selected by a faculty jury to take part in the UvA finals. In these finals they will compete with 12 PhD candidates from other UvA faculties. The winner will be announced 8 September and enroll in the global 3MT competition. Curious about their pitches?
