Dave van Schie works as a lecturer and behavioural trainer at the Department of Social Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. After graduating from the master tracks 'Training & Development' and 'Psychological Behavioral Influence', he has worked primarily as a psychologist-trainer. He did this at the Amsterdam University Medical Center and at the Amstel Academie. The focus of the work was on developing and guiding training programmes to medical personnel. In addition, he worked as an independent entrepreneur, where he also developed and guided training programmes on all kinds of social psychological constructs for different clients.

Since 2022, Dave has returned to the University of Amsterdam. His main tasks are to train and supervise future psychologist-trainers within the master's track 'Training & Development' and to further coordinate this programme.
