    Alexander Savi is an Assistant Professor of Psychological Methods at the Department of Psychology at the University of Amsterdam. After gaining his PhD at the University of Amsterdam, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the Amsterdam Center for Learning Analytics (VU University Amsterdam), and a senior researcher at EducationLab Netherlands. He collaborated with Prowise Learn (NL), ACT (US), and the Dutch Inspectorate of Education (NL).

    In his research and teaching, Alexander Savi aims to strengthen educational and psychological theory and practice with statistical methods and models. Alexander Savi works on idiographic and developmental theories of human intelligence, and is a founder and director of EdAptiv, building tomorrow's technology for today's education.
