I am currently a PhD candidate at Programme group Developmental Psychology, Faculty of Social and Behavioural Sciences, University of Amsterdam.
Supervised by Reinout Wiers and Helle Larsen, my PhD project centers on developing and testing behavioral interventions for addictions, via both RCTs studies in clinical samples and proof-of-principal studies in healthy volunteers. Specifically, we tested the effectiveness of cognitive bias modification (CBM) on drinking and smoking populations. Based on conventional CBM, we then developed an improved version of CBM that integrates inferential theories called ABC-training and tested its effectiveness in community and clinical samples.
