  • Profile

I conduct research in the broad areas of personality and cross-cultural psychology, addressing topics such as the structure, consistency, and predictive power of personality traits across cultures; the relationship of personality and values; the role of language in personality expression; and research methods. My main current research deals with an interdisciplinary approach to personality and values across languages and historical periods. This line of work aims to advance the understanding of historical changes in personality and values by leveraging insights from analyses of written texts.
