Dr. Joe Bathelt is an Assistant Professor in Clinical Neuropsychology at the Department of Psychology, University of Amsterdam, and member of the Amsterdam Brain & Cognition group. After obtaining his PhD in Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience at University College London, he worked as a postdoctoral research fellow on various grants at the University of Cambridge and University of Amsterdam. He previously held a position as senior lecturer at Royal Holloway, University of London.
In his research, Dr. Bathelt focuses on:
Dr. Bathelt's commitment to academia is reflected in his extensive teaching experience across prestigious institutions and his supervision of a diverse range of student research projects. An advocate for open science, he contributes to the field through significant editorial work. His efforts in public engagement and outreach further bridge the gap between complex neuroscience research and public understanding.
