After finishing the Research Master's Psychology combined with a Health Care psychology track at the University of Amsterdam (2014), I started my PhD project in 2015 under supervison of dr. Elske Salemink, dr. Helle Larsen, prof. dr. Reinout Wiers, and prof. dr. Susan Bögels. My project is on implicit processes in social anxiety. More specifically, the aim of the project is to improve current attention trainings for social anxiety by investigating whether training in certain emotional states can improve training effectiveness in reducing attentional bias for threat and social anxiety symptoms.
